Summer Ballet – 2026

Come dance with us this summer as we not only enjoy our classical ballet technique but character work, strength training, history and nutrition sessions!

Five-Week Summer Intensive

7/13/2025 – 8/14/2025

Our five-week Summer Intensive offers focused classical ballet training Monday through Friday from July 13–August 14. Each week centers on a specific technical element—Arabesques, Turns, Développés & Extensions, Character Work, and Allegro—supporting strong, progressive development. Every week our dancers will learn a new variation from classic ballets such as Coppelia, Swan Lake and more! Ballet training is supplemented with Pilates, nutrition, anatomy, acting, pointe preparedness, and ballet history. Dancers may attend individual weeks or the full program, with a 10% discount for all five weeks.

Monmouth Academy of Ballet Offers Extended Care for Dancers!

Many of our dancers and their families have busy schedules. Whether you have a sibling dancing in class before you, or their camp overlaps with your ballet training, MAB is now offering our families extended care! Join us in fun projects such as decorating pointe shoes, constructing tutus, exploring costume design and more! Extended care is offered at $100 per week and can be indicated at registration.

Week 1 – Arabesque

Build strength, balance, and line as dancers focus on correct placement and artistry in arabesque. Classes emphasize turnout, back strength, and seamless transitions to create long, expressive lines.

Week 2 – Turns

This week is dedicated to control, spotting, and precision. Dancers will refine technique, improve consistency, and gain confidence in classical ballet turning sequences.

Monday – Friday 10:00AM – 2:30PM

Week 3 – Développés & Extensions

Week 5 – Allegro

Monday – Friday 10:00AM – 2:30PM

Adult Ballet

This technique is a phenomenal compliment to any ballet class you are currently taking. This class is laying the foundation for ballet technique with its terminology and positions. The fundamentals of posture, core development, flexibility and fluidity are reinforced as students progress through a full, classical ballet barre and gracefully move to the center floor to challenge their balance and coordination with center practice exercises. The class culminates with a series of more challenging petite enchainments to further stimulate strength, stamina, ease of movement, memory and confidence.

Monday 10:00AM-11:30AM

Swans & Silver Swans®

Silver Swans® is designed by the Royal Academy of Dance to serve mature dancers where each will receive modifications in class according to their ability and physical limitations if necessary. For both novice and experienced dancers, these classes have no upper or lower age limit and no strict regime. This class delivers internal, emotional, and a physical workout where dancers sculpt their bodies, increase confidence, and physical stability and agility in a positive, like-minded atmosphere.

Wednesday 10:00AM-11:30AM
