ELIZABETH TROXLER /TEACHER
Beginning her dance training in Western Pennsylvania with Paula Scriva Jersey, Elizabeth Troxler studied at Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and Boston Ballet. She is an Associate and Certified Teacher for the Royal Academy of Dance and has performed professionally with The Illinois Ballet, The Peoria Ballet, and the Nacional Ballet de Panama. Miss Elizabeth has also performed in the national tour of “Sweet Charity”, and in numerous regional theater productions. She has trained and coached hundreds of students for the Royal Academy of Dance Children’s and Vocational Exams and the Youth American Grand Prix Ballet Competition. Many of her students have gone on to professional dancing careers. In addition to teaching at Monmouth Academy of Ballet and at Footnotes in Chatham Township, Miss Elizabeth is currently on the faculty of The Martha Graham Dance Company and School in NYC.
TOMISLAV NEVISTIC /TEACHER
Tomislav Nevistic is from Zagreb, Croatia, where he began his training in the School of Contemporary Dance Ana Maletic, where he studied Laban technique, Release, and ballet. In 2015 he moved to New York to study at Alvin Ailey School. He got a two-year certificate and teaching certificate from Martha Graham School and he was performing with Graham 2 Company for two seasons. Currently, he is dancing with Ziel Dance Theater and Mare Nostrum Elements.
JULIET MAZZOLA /TEACHER
Juliet Mazzola is originally from Bennington, Vermont, where she began her ballet training at the Berkshire Dance Theater. In 2018, Juliet graduated from The Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College with a BFA in Dance and a Concentration in Ballet. Juliet began her professional career in 2018 as a Company Artist with Ballet Hartford. For the 2019 season Juliet and seven other professional dancers co-founded and co-directed their own company, New England Ballet Collective, where she was Company Artist and President. Juliet is currently a Company Artist with Hudson Ballet Theatre.
HAZEL SMITH-FOLEY /STUDENT TEACHER
Hazel joined Monmouth Academy of Ballet in the fall of 2017. Hazel has attended summer intensives at Monmouth Academy of Ballet, the Princeton Ballet School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and the Royal Ballet School of London. Hazel will be entering her senior year at Ranney School this fall. She participated in MAB’s Royal Academy of Dance examinations in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Hazel has taken solo and featured roles in each of MAB’s Spring Performances.
