The Vision for the Monmouth Academy of Ballet

Long before we opened our doors in Sept 2014, the vision for the MAB existed. After years of performing professionally, and then later transitioning to teaching, I saw a need in our area for something different. My vision was to create a special kind of dance school. A school where ballet was the primary focus. A school that could become the premiere ballet training facility in the state. We have begun our journey towards this goal, and we are looking to grow, expand and improve, but in an organic way.

• We have now entered our third year in our fabulous Red Bank location.
• We have begun introducing world class artists and instructors into our class rotation.
• We have had 2 years of summer intensive programs that have met with wild success.
• We have had 2 great programs of Royal Academy of Dance coaching and examinations.
• And in 2017, we will be performing our first full scale, story-driven ballet, Cinderella.

As we continue to build towards our goals, we want to thank you for your dedication, and welcome you officially as a part of our adventure. All of our students and families are part of this special community, and you are “getting in” on the ground floor of what we are sure will become something truly remarkable.
