A Winter Dance Workshop for the Holidays
Monmouth Academy of Ballet, Central Jersey’s premier ballet school thrives in the heart of Red Bank, NJ. Looking to continue offering unparalleled dance education we’re introducing our latest dance workshop – Studio Series 1.0. This innovative program combines classical ballet and modern dance techniques, providing dancers with a solid foundation in both disciplines.
A Comprehensive Dance Workshop in Monmouth County
Monmouth Academy of Ballet is renowned for its dedication to high-quality ballet training. With opportunities for both classical ballet training, as well as Royal Academy of Dance Education, MAB prides itself on offering students a tried and true dance education. We have a solid foundation in ballet, however, MAB now plans to incorporate even more technique to make sure our students have the best dance education on the East Coast. Studio Series 1.0 targets dancers looking to refine their skills in both ballet and modern dance. This program offers a unique opportunity for dancers in Monmouth County to blend the grace of classical ballet alongside the expressive movements of modern dance.
Throughout the workshop, dancers will:
- Build strength, flexibility, and control through ballet technique.
- Develop expressive, grounded movement through modern dance.
The workshops will take place on Saturdays from 2:00PM – 5:00PM from October 12th – December 14th.
Attire for the workshops will be pink transition tights, pink ballet slippers, black leotard and an awesome ballet bun. Male dancers should wear white or black t-shirts, black dance shorts, white socks and black or white ballet slippers. Dancers should not wear jewelry.
There is a minimum of five dancer registrations in order for the workshop to run. Our schedule is subject to change. There is no workshop on November 30 due to Thanksgiving.
Holiday-Themed Ballet Performances
A key component of Studio Series 1.0 is the opportunity to perform in two holiday ballet performances at MAB!
Perfect for families and the local community, these holiday ballet performances are set to become a must-see event. Dancers will bring a winter themed story to life in the studio, displaying all they’ve learned in the dance workshop.
Performances Dates:
Saturday, December 14 at 4:00 p.m. & Sunday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m.
