Vivien
Monmouth Academy of Ballet’s Spotlight is shining on our ballet dancer, Vivien! She is 7 years old and is a 1st grader at The Ranney School. She has trained in ballet for 3 years.

How many hours of ballet class do you take each week?
I take 2 hours of classes a week.
How old were you when you started taking ballet classes?
I was 3 and a half years old when I started taking ballet classes.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to be a ballerina, scientist and teacher.
What do you like to do when you are not dancing?
When I am not dancing I enjoy reading, art, science, and music – especially piano!
Why did you choose MAB as your dance school?
Because Miss Ellen is the best!
Have you participated in MAB’s Spring Performance and/or Royal Academy of Dance examinations? What would you like to tell us about those experiences?
Yes, I took RAD this past February and will be in the Spring Performance this year. RAD was very fun. I’m super excited!
What is your favorite ballet?
My favorite ballet is The Nutcracker.
Who is your favorite pop artist, composer, ballerina or danseur, and why?
Beethoven, I love “Ode to Joy”
