Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland – 2023

We are thrilled to announce that 2023 will be the first official performance presented by the Monmouth Ballet Foundation.

Spring Performance 2023 will be an original ballet and choreography entitled “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” based on the timeless tale. It will include story vignettes based the story. The performance will feature original choreography by Miss Ellen, whose goal is to create ensemble and solo performance pieces matched to each student’s capabilities.

“Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” will be performed on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Rehearsals will begin February 4, 2023, and will continue right through until the performance date. Details to follow.

Auditions

Auditions will be held at MAB’s studio on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Dancers in the Primary, Chassé, Passé and Changement classes will be auditioned from 2:30-5:30 pm.

• For young ladies: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and pointe shoes where appropriate. Hair must be in a bun.
• For young men: black or navy leggings, white tee-shirt, white ankle socks and black or white ballet slippers.

Audition Application & Fees

Your audition application and $47 audition fee must be submitted to MAB no later than Friday December 9, 2023.

There is an additional $165 performance fee due by Wednesday, February 1, 2023. It may also be paid by mail, at the studio or using an online form available after cast selection in early December.
